Like all of Vergani's panettone this uses a traditional naturally leavened dough, making the final product soft and airy.  It is beautifully complemented by delicious chocolate drops balanced with a sweet-tart Blood Orange cream filling. 
 
Unlike traditional fruit-filled panettone, this contemporary variation is made without raisins or candied citrus peel, allowing the smooth orange cream and chocolate to take centre stage.
