This handcrafted "Farfalle" Pasta, which means butterfly, is one of the most classic shapes of Italian pasta. The beautiful, completely natural pastel colours are a real eye-catcher and do not fade once the pasta is cooked.
It can be combined with any kind of sauce, from just EVOO and garlic to vegetable, meat and seafood sauces.
The "Pastificio del Colle" follow artisan production techniques, using only selected high quality durum wheat semolina and natural food based powders for colour. The dough is either worked manually or drawn through bronze dies to create a rougher pasta for holding a sauce. The pasta is then slow dried on frames.
