About the event
Join us for an exciting and fun day, full of useful knowledge on greenwashing claims and practical skills to help you in building your regenerative wardrobe. To start the process, you need to use what you have first, so simply bring a plain t-shirt that you want to fall in love with again. We will take a story of a one t-shirt a bit further than exploring just its real cost. We will upcycle it with basic hand stitches (the Hand Stitching Guide will be provided) and applique method to prolong its lifecycle.
The workshop will be run by Joanna from Slow and Circular (IG @slow_and_circular), a keen upcycler, bag maker, and slow fashion and nature lover. She is happy to have an opportunity to share the knowledge and skills that are key for changing your mindset and building up your confidence in creating more sustainable wardrobe.
Downloadable resources to support the project will also be available to participants.
Ticket price £65
RSVP here and then head to The Local Folk to book your place.
