This Pistachio Cream from Sicily is made using the green pistachio DOP from Bronte. The soil here, continuously nourished by volcanic ash, favours its growth. Nontheless, Italian pistachios account for only 1% of the world's production, making this a very special treat. It is excellent on toasted bread or as a topping or filling for pastries, cakes and biscuits.
