These super-cute candies can be found in sweet shops all over Italy and we love the iconic vintage packaging as well as their delicate sweetness. This collection features Italian cities and the phrase 'Be Italian. Be Sweet!'
Pastiglie Leone have been in production since 1857. The story begins in the confectioner’s shop in Alba where Luigi Leone used to produce small and delicious candy originals intensely fragrant for delighting his customers after a meal. The first tastes available were peppermint and aromatic flavours such as: cinnamon, fernet, rhubarb and gentian, just to name a few. The candies are kneaded by hand and dried on the mouth of the oven.
